About Me

I am a licensed social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. Over the past 20 years, I’ve been actively engaged with various teen and children organizations. This direct engagement has allowed me to gain invaluable insights into the unique challenges and needs of youth. As a therapist, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, I offer specialized support to parents who seek guidance as to how to best support their child’s emotional development and manage everyday parenting challenges.

I’m passionate about empowering children, teens, and parents to gain the skills to improve their overall well being. In addition to my social work background, I bring a unique dimension to my practice, having taught yoga for 20 years. I embrace the mind-body connection to promote wellness, My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and ultimately lead healthier, happier lives.

I grew up in Idaho but have called Austin home for the past 20 years. I am a wife and a mother of four children. I love the outdoors and am an avid runner. I also love biking, hiking, kayaking and just being in nature with my family. The outdoors offers a sense of balance in the midst of life’s demands.
